Yellow Bridesmaid Dresses are No Longer Just for Spring and Summer Weddings
The spring and summer months are known as wedding season, specifically May and June. It is in these months that you can usually find a wedding party decked out in pastel shades. However, yellow is no longer an appropriate choice for bridesmaid dresses in only these months. It has enjoyed and expansion in its popularity, and now year round you are finding yellow bridesmaid dresses walking down the aisles at weddings.
Yellow is a beautiful color as a pastel, but part of what has led to the popularity of yellow bridesmaid dresses throughout the year are some of the interesting color combinations that can be created with it. One of the most beautiful schemes is actually one that is fully appropriate for a lush fall wedding. Yellow and brown make a beautiful combination. If you are planning an afternoon affair this can be a soft and delicate color combination that will take your guests breath away.
As the groom and his attendants line up for the ceremony in their soft brown suits and pale yellow ties the stage is set for the delicate yellow bridesmaid dresses that your girls are wearing. Additionally, by integrating ivory and yellow blooms within your flower arrangements you have pulled the look together.
If you are looking for a more vibrant stage for your yellow bridesmaid dresses then why not couple the yellow with a bright orange and a rich pink. This color combination can be a lot of fun, and to tie it together you simply need to choose some pink or orange jewelry or heels to be worn with your yellow dresses. Additionally, your flowers can really help to tie this together as a decorative scheme, and if you are really wanting to have fun you might infuse your floral arrangements with a vibrant lime color to help make the yellow pop.
For winter weddings there is still a way to work yellow into your color scheme. Yellow bridesmaid dresses look beautiful when paired with navy. Why not think about creating a mixture of navy and yellow bridesmaid dresses in your party. Not only can this create for really fun pictures, but the contrast will make each of the colors pop. As a bride you can integrate it into your look as well. Have the ribbon on your bouquet be yellow while sporting navy shoes underneath your dress.
Lastly, yellow and green can be a lovely combination together, and this is a combination that can be used throughout the year depending on the shade of green. The key here is to use the green as simply an accent color to the yellow bridesmaid dresses. Instead of trying to evenly disperse the attention between both colors use the green to enhance and highlight the yellow. For example, if you have fitted satin yellow bridesmaid dresses chosen why not use a pretty sage sash around the waistline or a forest green wrap to integrate the green shades that you are looking for without loosing the yellow impact?
